Alberta Motor Association

The Alberta Motor Association (AMA) is a non-profit membership organization serving Alberta & NWT affiliated with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) and the AAA (formerly American Automobile Association). Founded in 1926, it has over 830,000 members as of February 2008 [Cite web|url=http://www.ama.ab.ca/cps/rde/xchg/ama/web/membership_About-AMA.htm|title=About AMA|author=AMA|accessdate=2008-03-27] and provides them with roadside assistance service, a complete range of auto touring and leisure travel services, insurance services, and member discounts with preferred companies. AMA provides extensive and superior range of products and services promoting quality service, safety and protection for the members. AMA is also Alberta's leading advocate for motoring and related consumer issues and the premier supplier of automotive and other travel services.

The association also owns Bridgewater Bank, a Calgary-based chartered bank.
