Playing career
He was drafted in the sixth round, 166th overall, by the Calgary Flames in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
In 2002, he was the Player of the Year in the Ontario Hockey League, despite missing six weeks with a broken arm.[1] After playing five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and Erie Otters, Pecker made his professional debut with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League in the 2002–03 season. He had spent his entire North American professional career to date in the AHL, with the exception of two brief stints in the ECHL with the San Diego Gulls and Phoenix RoadRunners. He signed with HC Lausanne of the Swiss League in 2007.
On October 18, 2011, Pecker signed with EC VSV in Austria.[3] On November 12, Pecker left EC VSV and signed with EHC Olten in Switzerland.[4]

At 15 years of age, Pecker was the youngest player to play in the 1997 Maccabiah Games ice hockey tournament.[citation needed]
