Unlike most of her material, Arden did not compose it herself. It was instead composed by her friend, Canadian songwriterAnne Loree .The song remains by far Arden's most successful single to date outside of Canada, reaching number 12 on the Billboard charts in the
United States where it was also featured on the soundtrack to the film "Bed of Roses ". It also reached the top 10 on the US Adult Contemporary singles chart and in several countries includingAustralia and it was the theme song of a majortelevision advertisement inItaly .
