- North Embarcadero Visionary Plan
The North Embarcadero Visionary Plan is a major waterfront development in Downtown San Diego, California. It will include a convert|1.2|mi|km|sing=on esplanade with waterfront trails and public art. The area will be bordered by Market Street to the south (Marina District), Laurel Street to the north (Little Italy), and the railroad tracks to the east. It will contain convert|6.5|acre|m2 of gardens, convert|5|acre|m2 of open space plaza areas and will have more than 1,700 trees. It will redevelop the Broadway Pier and create new retail shopping.
