The JPA is composed of the City of San Diego, Center City Development Corporation (CCDC), and the Port of San Diego. The project is called the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan, a multi-phased redevelopment of the waterfront in downtownSan Diego . This redevelopment project will add thousands of trees and increase needed open public space, while continuing San Diego's tradition of having a working waterfront.
