(1984)"Still Loving You" is apower ballad andsignature song of Scorpions from their 1984 album "Love at First Sting ". It was the second, and last, single of the album, reaching #64 onBillboard Hot 100 . It is considered to be one of the greatest songs of the band which became an international rock anthem (listed #22 on VH1's list of the 25 Greatest Power Ballads). In France alone, the single sold 1.7 million copies. The song unleashed a wave of hysteria among French fans not seen since the Beatles and became the Scorpions’ musical trademark around the globe. One possible meaning of the song is that it may refer to the people on the other side of the Berlin wall and a deep want to reunite famlies and loved ones. This can be brought about by looking at the lines "Love, only love Can break down the wall someday." This type of anti-coldwar theme is popular in the music of the band.
