NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship

NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship

The NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship was a women's professional wrestling tag team title sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance from the early 1950s through 1983. The championship became a World Wrestling Federation title in 1983 when the WWF, then a member of the NWA, withdrew from its membership within the NWA, bought the rights to the championship and continued using them[1].
