Eskilstuna, SwedenPolitical party Green Party Ingrid Maria Wetterstrand (born 2 October 1973 in Eskilstuna, Södermanland) is a Swedish politician. Between 2002-2011 she was one of the spokespersons of the Green Party alongside with Peter Eriksson. She has been a member of the Riksdag since 2001.
Wetterstrand has a master's degree in biology from the University of Gothenburg.
Wetterstrand is married to Ville Niinistö, a Finnish politician representing the Green League. Their son Elias was born in November 2004 and daughter Linnea in 2007.
