Nicholas (Nick) Ingman is an orchestra conductor and composer.
Early recordings include:
- 'Big Beat' (early 1970s)
- 'The Love Album' (Circle Of Sound, 1972)
- 'Terminator' (Studio2Stereo, 1976)
He is credited as conductor for several movies including Billy Elliot, The Passion of the Christ, Captain Corelli's Mandolin and Shakespeare in Love for which composer Stephen Warbeck won an Academy Award. He composed the themes for the BBC's sitcoms Don't Wait Up and Keeping Up Appearances. He produced Olivia Newton-John's 1974 single Long Live Love, conducting the orchestra when she performed live at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton and producing her album of the same name released later the same year.
