Woodland-Normanstone Terrace

Woodland-Normanstone Terrace

Woodland-Normanstone Terrace is a small residential neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC, adjoining the larger neighborhoods of Woodley Park, Massachusetts Heights, and Observatory Circle. It is therefore often thought to be part of one of those neighborhoods.

Woodland-Normanstone Terrace is bounded on the north by Garfield Street, on the northeast by Cleveland Avenue, on the southwest by Fulton Street and Normanstone Drive, and on the south and east by Rock Creek Park. It is served by the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro station on the Red Line.

Woodland-Normanstone Terrace is a very small enclave tucked into the park. It is named after Woodland Drive, its main street, and the cul-de-sac Normanstone Terrace, its centralmost. There are no commercial businesses to speak of, but merely an affluent community of detached single-family homes.
