U.S. state of Georgia. The route travels from theAlabama state line at Georgetown east to State Route 520 in Dawson. It is cosigned withU.S. Route 82 for its entire length.Routing
State Route 50 begins at the Alabama state line, at the bridge over the
Chattahoochee River . The route travels east, cosigned with U.S. Route 82, to Georgetown. After a brief cosignage with State Route 39 east of Georgetown, the route continues east to Cuthbert. The route then continues almost due east to Dawson, where it meets its eastern terminus at State Route 520. U.S. Route 82 continues east, cosigned with State Route 520.History
State Route 50 at one point continued east to
