History

The station went on the air as KXSS on 1983-07-01. on 1985-06-15, the station changed its call sign to KJUS, on 1987-03-01 to KLDZ, on 1996-03-29 to KNET-FM, on 1998-03-16 to the current KRKR, [ cite web|url=http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/call_hist.pl?Facility_id=54707&Callsign=KRKR |title=KRKR Call Sign History |work=United States Federal Communications Commission, audio division ]

On August 18, 2008 KRKR changed their format to adult contemporary, simulcasting KBZR "102.7 The Breeze".
