Anglican Church of Australia and the Uniting Church in Australia. It is operated by EDUCANG Limited along with The Forest Lake International College,The Lakes College andThe Springfield College .Classes from Prep to Year Six are conducted at the campus in Alpine Place, Forest Lake,
Queensland . This campus operates in partnership with Education Queensland. Forest Lake State School and Forest Lake College enjoy the use of a number of separate and shared facilities at adjacent campuses.1.8 kilometres away is the purpose-built campus in College Avenue, which accommodates students from Years Seven to Twelve. This campus was officially opened in 1998. As at Alpine Place, this campus operates in partnership with Education Queensland. A $4.25 million state of the art Resource Centre was built in partnership with the Forest Lake State High School.
History
Forest Lake College was established in 1994 with 66 students. The College's enrollment has expanded to over 1,050 students.
Curriculum
Forest Lake College's curriculum includes individualized training in the academic, cultural, social, spiritual and physical domains. Forest Lake College's academic curriculum offers a range of science, humanities and vocational subjects.
Forest Lake College believes there are three discrete stages of a child's education:-
- the foundation studies of early childhood,
- the middle years of development and growth, and
- the final years of preparation for adult life.
Mandarin Chinese
Mandarin Chinese is the College's official Language Other Than English (LOTE) and is taught in all classes from Prep (pre-school) through to Year Eight and may be undertaken as an elective subject from Year Nine through to Year Twelve..
Music
All Forest Lake College students from Prep (pre-school) onwards learn to play an orchestral musical instrument. As part of the core curriculum, all students receive instruction from String, Brass, Percussion or Woodwind specialist music teachers during classroom time.
Other Activities
The College offers activities in cultural areas, as well as recreational and leisure activities such as public speaking, computer clubs and chess clubs. Students take part in debating competitions with other schools, fielding teams in the Queensland Debating Union schools' competition.

The Associated Schools Sports
The Forest Lake College sporting program is centred around membership of
The Associated Schools (TAS) for students in Years 8-12, and Junior TAS Competition (JTAS) for students in Years 4-7.Apart from the core sports of Swimming, Cross-country and Athletics, all TAS sport is played on Saturdays over 3 trimesters. Each trimester is approximately nine weeks.
