Music video

The music video is a "modern day depiction of the biblical story of Job," as explained by the lead singer in the extended version of the music video for the song. [ [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41bhs3iDGGk Prayer Music Video (Extended Version)] ] The members of Disturbed go through trials such as is present with the story of Job: Draiman walks through an earthquake, Dan Donegan (guitarist) crashes his car, Mike Wengren (drummer) gets knocked down by an explosion, and Steve Kmak (bassist) is almost crushed by scaffolding.

The music video was banned in the U.S by MTV and other music television channels for having imagery too similar to that of 9-11 when in reality, the footage is of an earthquake causing buildings to crumble in a city other than New York. The only U.S. channel to air the video for a long period of time was Fuse TV. It was included as a data file in some copies of the album.
