American Prayer (song)

'American Prayer' is a song written in 2002 by David A. Stewart and Bono. A version was recorded by Stewart in 2008 with a video the links to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama.

The video includes many guest appearances, including Forest Whitaker, Whoopi Goldberg, Barry Manilow, Jason Alexander, Macy Gray, Herbie Hancock, Margaret Cho, Joss Stone, Colbie Caillat, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Baez, Perez Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Sergio Mendes, Buju Banton, Linda Perry.
