- Geoffrey Bridgeman
Brigadier Geoffrey John Orlando Bridgeman, MC, (3 July 1898 –15 October 1974 ) was a British soldier.The second son of the 1st Viscount Bridgeman and Caroline Beatrix Parker, and younger brother of the 2nd Viscount, was educated in
Eton College ,Berkshire . Bridgeman graduated fromTrinity College, Cambridge with aBachelor of Arts in 1920 and a Master of Arts in 1926. He received further aBachelor of Medicine , and aBachelor in Surgery in 1928. He worked as consultant and ophthalmic surgeon inSt George's Hospital .Bridgeman fought in the First World War, reaching the rank of
Lieutenant . He served in theRoyal Field Artillery and was decorated with theMilitary Cross in 1918. During the Second World War, he served in theRoyal Army Medical Corps , and gained the rank of brigadier.Family

3 July 1929 , he married Mary Meriel Gertrude Talbot, daughter of Sir George John Talbot. They had three children:*
