Move-by-wire

Move-by-wire can refer to:

  • fly-by-wire: the original “by-wire”, used in all but the smaller of present aeroplanes for maneuvering;
  • drive-by-wire, also known as electronic throttle control, used in vehicle;
  • A fictional cyberware technology that appears first in Shadowrun II supplement Cybertechnology. It pilots a human like a plane, allowing for inhuman swiftness; Downsides is the use of extremely (even lethally) invasive implants.
