Stenhouse Primary School is a school for grades nursery to P7 in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was built in 1930 [http://www.stenhouse.ik.org/] .

Africa connection

In 2005, the school hosted the award ceremony of the Scottish Schools Africa Challenge, attended by First Minister Jack McConnell [http://www.thehunterfoundation.co.uk/news/?news_id=8] .In 2006, staff members visited Malawi in order to train 40 local headteacher as part of its "Stenhouse School Leadership Project", funded by Scottish Executive international development [http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1656812006] . The school is twinned with Embangweni Primary School in northern Malawi.
