Blumas was born in
London, Ontario ,Canada , and went to school at the Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts, studying drama, music, dance, and art. Blumas was part of the Original Kids Theatre Company in Ontario, and was nominated for a 1999Young Artist Award for "Best Performance", for his performance in "Stranger in Town". Blumas graduated from AB Lucas Secondary School in 2003.Career
As a teenager, Blumas took a break from acting to join a band called Staylefish. Trevor Blumas wrote the reggae ballad "Hold On" for the band. After parting with them, he is now working on his own solo
album on the same label as his former band Calamity Entertainment.Blumas co-starred in the Disney film "
Ice Princess " (2005) alongside "Buffy" alumnaMichelle Trachtenberg .He is currently the lead singer of the indie-band, What Ever Happened to Corduroy.
