The Cailly is a river in France, right tributary of the Seine. It is located in the Seine-Maritime "département", in the Haute-Normandie "région". Its length is 29 km. The river flows through Fontaine-le-Bourg, Malaunay, Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville, Maromme and Déville-lès-Rouen, and empties into the Seine at Rouen.

History

In the 18th and 19th centuries, the valley was filled with textile mills, which earned it the nickname "la petite Manchester", (Little Manchester).
