Its southern terminus is at an exit ramp on State Route 7 in Bridgeport. The route serves as a connector from northbound State Route 7 to State Route 7 Alternate, U.S. Route 40, and U.S. Route 250. The route’s northern terminus is where these U.S. routes overlap eastbound to cross the Ohio River into West Virginia. State Route 7 Alternate serves as a connector for all of these routes to Interstate 70. The route was signed briefly but is no longer.
