Located one-and-a-half miles (two kilometres) southwest of the unincorporated town of Waimea in Hawai‘i County, Waimea-Kohala Airport has a singlerunway withouttaxiway s and an aircraft parking apron at the west end of the runway serving the passenger terminal andgeneral aviation facilities. No fueling or airport trafficcontrol tower facilities are provided. An aircraft rescue and fire fighting facility shares space in the airport maintenance facility.The only scheduled commercial airline is
