The Griffith Law School provides an interdisciplinary legal education.
Undergraduate combined degree programs are taught from the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses, whilepostgraduate and professional programs, including a diploma course for migration agents without practising certificates as barristers or solicitors, are taught from the Legal Practice Centre located at the South Bank campus near the Brisbane city centre.The school has
undergraduate degrees in law, three-yearpostgraduate degrees, and a Practical Legal Training course. All undergraduate degrees are taught as combined degrees with other disciplines within the university. The Griffith University Law Society (GULS) [ [http://guls.org/ Griffith University Law Society] ] is a group of law students that organises social events, competitions, career events, mentorship programs and informative publications for law students at Griffith University. The social events include balls and pub outings. The competitions usually consist of moots, witness examinations, client interviewing and negotiations, to develop the skills of students before they enter practice.
The Griffith Student Law Association (SLA) [ [http://www.gusla.org.au Griffith Student Law Association] ] performs similar functions to that of GULS on the Gold Coast campus, to support students at that location. The SLA provides a variety of services to students most notably competitions which aim to develop students' practical legal skills and social and networking events. The SLA also networks with the legal community on the Gold Coast
