QChat is a Push-to-Talk technology developed by
Qualcomm .QChat was givenFact|date=February 2008 to
Nextel in the hopes of winning aCDMA upgrade contract for Nextel'siDEN network. AfterSprint Corporation acquired Nextel in 2005, Sprint became the only company with the rights to deploy it. Sprint's phones supporting QChat technology are set to be released April 2008.
