Maureen Helen Naylor (born 1978) is an American television news anchor and previouly did the weekend newscasts for Fresno's KFSN ABC 30 Action News in HD from March, 2005[1] to March, 2008. She is now a reporter for KTVU in Oakland/San Francisco.

Early life
Maureen was born and raised in the Bay Area as one of five children. Her mother was raised in Mexico City and her father was raised in Burlingame, California. Maureen had a passion for news and at the same time stayed active in the community, so she went on to UC Davis and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and studied for her degree in broadcast journalism. At the same time she was studying for her major, she was on the lacrosse team. Maureen graduated from Cal Poly.
News Career at KCOY and KNVN/KHSL (NCN) 2000-2005
While in San Luis Obispo, Maureen started an internship at KCOY, the CBS affiliate in Santa Maria, CA. While at KCOY, she did reporting, news writing, producing and editing for News Source 12. She then went to the other side of the camera and did field reporting for their newscasts. Many of her stories included the Harris Grade fire in 2000.
In December, 2001, Naylor left KCOY-TV and was offered a job at KNVN/KHSL in Chico, California as the morning anchor replacing anchor Amy Finley.[2] In January, 2002, Maureen Naylor teamed up with Matt Keller to anchor at Northern California News and did news break-ins for Your Show Live broadcasting from Mt. Shasta Mall in Redding which ran from 2002 until February 2004. While at NCN, Maureen won an award for best news anchor and best non-traditional news show. Unfortunately, the management at KNVN/KHSL decided to pull the plug on Your Show Live due to low ratings. Maureen teamed up with Matt Keller at NCN for another year before leaving on March 10, 2005 after four years with NCN.[3]
KFSN-TV ABC 30 2005-2008
Maureen debuted on ABC 30 on April 1, 2005 after a big shake up with KFSN's news and weather department in releasing Richard Montano. Maureen anchored the weekends with Jason Oliveira on sports and Craig Herrera on weather (now with KNTV) for one year before Craig Herrera made the big move to KNTV. Ashley Tate (from KYMA) was hired to replace the void left by Craig Herrera Ms. Naylor along with Itica Milanes (from KPRC). In her current position at KFSN, Ms. Naylor covered stories from the Yosemite National Park flooding near Mariposa, CA in 2005, Hurricane Katrina, The summer 2006 heatwave and the recent Central Valley freeze in January, 2007. Some of her famous interviews at KFSN-TV included Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Brokaw and olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton.[4] According to emmyssf.com, Maureen won an emmy for her reporting for ABC 30 as a reporter in 2007.[5]
KTVU Oakland 2008 to present
In early March, 2008, Maureen left KFSN-TV to take over a new reporting job for KTVU.
