Snow White and the Seven Samurai

Snow White and the Seven Samurai

Snow White and the Seven Samurai is a humorous novel by the English author Tom Holt. It was first published in the United Kingdom in 1999 by Orbit Books.

In the novel, three children hack into a computer system to find out what really goes on in fairy tales. As a result they find themselves actually inside the virtual fairy tale land. Their interference, though, has had serious consequences. They are the equivalent of a virus and the Operating System (Mirrors 3.1) is crashing around them and characters are exhibiting strange behaviour.

Snow White and the Seven Samurai is classified under the fantasy fairytale genre, and touches slightly into the science fiction genre in the function of the computer system.
