During the 2007-2008 school year. Water ruined the track and a sinkhole appeared. They later rebuilt it, and the first football game on the new surface was played on September 4, 2008. The new track is also made out of mondo, the same material used in the Beijing Olympics. The total cost of rebuilding the track and football field cost approximately ten million dollars. Which is real great considering how underpaid todays' teachers are.
