Derek Dwayne Hood (born December 22, 1976, in Decatur, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player.[1]
Hood, a 6'8", 222 pound small forward, attended the University of Arkansas. He played two games for the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Hornets during the 1999-2000 NBA season.[2]
Hood has also played in the CBA with the Quad City Thunder[3] and Yakima Sun Kings,[4] in Italy with Snaidero Udine,[5] in the ABA with the Kansas City Knights,[6] in the NBDL with the Mobile Revelers,[7] and in France with ASVEL Villeurbanne.[5]
