Ascot Vale is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Ascot Vale, on the Craigieburn railway line. Ascot Vale is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1.

Facilities

Ascot Vale is located between The Crescent and North Street, with station access from both.

The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (Flinders Street bound) has a large red brick building, while platform 2 (Craigieburn bound) has a smaller brick building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2. An underpass is situated at the Flinders Street end of the station.

History
