Muine Bheag railway station

Muine Bheag railway station serves the town of Muine Bheag in County Carlow The station opened on 24 July 1848 as "Bagenalstown". It was closed for goods traffic on 6 September 1976 [cite web | title=Bagnelstown station | work=Railscot - Irish Railways | url=http://www.railscot.co.uk/Ireland/Irish_railways.pdf | accessdate=2007-08-30] and re-named in 1988.
