David Kosoof Personal information Born 26 July 1978 Medal recordMen’s Field Hockey Competitor for New Zealand Commonwealth Games Silver 2002 Manchester Team Competition Champions Challenge Silver 2007 Boom Team Competition David ("Dave") William Kosoof (born 26 July 1978 in Rotorua) is a field hockey striker from New Zealand, who finished in sixth position with the Men's National Team, nicknamed Black Sticks, at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
He was the final player named in the Athens Olympics team after Ryan Archibald failed last minute fitness testing. Kosoof made his debut for New Zealand in 2001 and was a member of the silver medal winning team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
