The Galway Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Galway Clubs. The winners of the Galway Championship winners qualify to represent their county in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. The 2007 Galway Senior Hurling Champions are Portumna, who regained the title after a convincing win over Kinvara in the final.

History

The most successful Galway team as of 2006 are Castlegar who have won the championship on seventeen occasions, winning their last title in 1984. Meelick won the first senior hurling championship in 1887, it proved to be their only Galway championship victory.
