Mitesh Kishorbhai Patel (born 9 May 1976 in Gujarat, India) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 1998. Patel was a key element in The Kiwi's attacking midfield. He returned to the team for the European Tour in July 2005, taking a break after the 2004 Summer Olympics.

The resident of London is described as possessing good pace and plenty of experience, having played in over one hundred matches for New Zealand. Patel is typically placed in a midfield combination with Ryan Archibald and Darren Smith. He is nicknamed "Meat Dish" or "Petal".[1] Patel earned a total number of 135 caps during his career.
