McDade is an unincorporated community in northern Bastrop County, Texas, United States located along US Hwy 290.
The McDade Independent School District serves area students.
McDade was, for several years, the childhood home of 1950's TV and recording star Gale Storm. Her mother owned a millinery shop in McDade.
