Igor (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

Igor is a fictional hunchbacked lab assistant who appears in the film "The Nightmare Before Christmas", and the video game spin-offs. The actor who voices him in the movie is uncredited.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Dr. Finklestein's assistant, Igor is a short, stooped-over, one-eyed man who lives in the doctor's tower with him and Sally. Whenever he does something right, Finklestein rewards him with a dog biscuit which Igor happily munches down. He is first seen among the citizens of Halloweentown at the town meeting where Jack explains what Christmas is about. Later, he brings Dr. Finklestein the plans to make the skeletal reindeer to pull Jack's sleigh and helps Finklestein bring them to life. After this he only appears sporadically throughout the film, most notably when Santa Claus is first brought in by Oogie's boys and later mourning when the Mayor announces Jack's apparent demise.

Igor appears in the games ' and ' as a non-playable character.

* In "", the player must rescue him after he gets captured by one of Dr. Finklestein's inventions gone wrong thanks to one of Oogie Boogie's bugs eating parts of the control panel.

* In "" the player must help him recover his stolen dog biscuits in a bonus level. Examining some items in the lab reveals he is an inventor too. He is voiced by Rob Paulsen here.
