The county contains three other towns:Radzionków , convert|8|km|mi|0|abbr=on south of Tarnowskie Góry,Kalety , convert|14|km|mi|0|abbr=on north of Tarnowskie Góry, andMiasteczko Śląskie , convert|5|km|mi|0|abbr=on north-east of Tarnowskie Góry.The county covers an area of convert|642.63|km2|sqmi|1. As of 2006 its total population is 137,979, out of which the population of Tarnowskie Góry is 61,107, that of Radzionków is 17,220, that of Kalety is 8,657, that of Miasteczko Śląskie is 7,368, and the rural population is 43,627.
