Times Two was an American male duo of vocalists/keyboardists that wrote most of their own material. "Times Two" were Shanti Jones and Johnny Dollar, both from Point Reyes, California. They had a hit with a cover of the Simon and Garfunkel song, "Cecilia". It reached number one in several countries in 1988.Fact|date=February 2007

Their 1988 album, "X2", reached #137 on the Billboard 200 [http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:myen97q7krat~T5] . In the U.S., their biggest hit was "Strange But True", which peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1988.

Also in 1988, Doug Breitbart signed Times Two as the opening act for Debbie Gibson's "Out of the Blue Tour".
