As Good Cooks Go is a black-and-white British sitcom that aired on BBC1 from 1969 to 1970. It stars Tessie O'Shea and was written by John Warren and John Singer.

Plot

Blodwen O'Reilly is a cook who works in many different establishments. She turns a transport cafe into a quality restaurant, works in an Army canteen and prepares meals in an old people's home.

A sixth episode of the first series was planned for 4 March 1970, but this was cancelled due to the show's lack of popularity with the public. As was typical BBC practice of the time, all of the episodes were later wiped, and none exist in the archives as of 2009.
