Revolutionary Armed Forces of the Sahara (FARS) is a toubou militant group in Niger, presumably of separatist intentions, who kidnapped two Italian tourists in August 2006 [cite web|url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/5288048.stm|title='Rebels' hold Italians in Niger |publisher=BBC|date=2006-08-25|accessdate=2008-07-14] .
