American intelligence analysts estimate Al Henali was born in 1963, in Darna, Syria.
Prior to his capture Menhal Al Henali worked in an United Nations refugee camp in Vershowa, Pakistan, [3]
Combatant Status Review
Main article: Combatant Status Review TribunalAl Henali was released before the Tribunals began and there is no record that his status as an enemy combatant was ever reviewed during his stay in the Guantanamo Bay detainment camps.[1]
