It is one of the largest and technically equipped airport at the of South of Ukraine. Class B airport has contemporary runway ready to receive aircraft with landing weight up to 220 tons and to hold eight "IL-76" aircraft equipped with lighting, radio and navigation equipment. Air terminal complex has throughput capacity up to 400 passengers per hour on internal airlines flights and up to 100 passengers on international flights.[2]
