About Oskar Blues

Oskar Blues Brewery is located in Longmont, CO - east of the original OB Brew Pub and Grill in Lyons, CO. Oskar Blues Brewery cans craft-brewed beer. The brewery is owned by Dale Katechis. Dale owns "Oskar Blues Homemade Liquids and Solids" Restaurant in Longmont, CO in addition to the Brewery and Brew Pub and Grill in Lyons, CO.

Oskar Blues Brew and Grill opened in 1997. Oskar Blues launched the canning operation in a crappy 60-year-old barn next door to the pub in the fall of 2002. The original crew used a hand-canning line on a table-top machine that sealed one can at a time, under duress. Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont packaged 41,000 barrels in 2010.
