• Elected Mayor for the Town of Caledon in November 2003, and re-elected with a majority of the votes in 2006
• Previously served as Ward 2 Regional Councillor for three consecutive terms.
• Serving as a Peel Board of Education Trustee for two consecutive terms.
• Advocates for the agricultural community.
• In 2004 she founded the Greater Toronto Countryside Mayor’s Alliance
• Founder & Chair of Road Watch Canada

Awards

• Ontario Provincial Police Commissioners Citation
• 2002 Ontario Crime Control Commission Award of Excellence
• The 2003 Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal.
