Harris County ,Texas to the northwest of Houston between U.S. Highway 290 and Interstate 10. Villages
Lakeland Village
Lakeland Village is the first of four "villages" to be built in Bridgeland. The village consists of the following communities and areas:
*The Shores: The Shores is located off North Bridgeland Lake Parkway near the entrance to Bridgeland off Fry Road. The Shores is located in the Lakeland Village of Bridgeland. The first residents of The Shores arrived in June 2006. At its completion it will have 571 homes. The community is located across the street from Oak Meadow Park and Cypress Creek Trail. House Hahl Trail also runs through the neighborhood.
*First Bend: First Bend is located off North Bridgeland Lake Parkway near the entrance to Bridgeland off Fry Road. First Bend is located in the Lakeland Village of Bridgeland. The first residents of First Bend arrived in 2007. At its completion it will have 406 homes. The community contains Turtle Lane and Butterfly Garden, a nature trail and small park.
*The Cove: The Cove is located off North Bridgeland Lake Parkway, west of The Shores. It will be home to a Cy-Fair ISD elementary school. [cite news
