Someshwar is a census town in Dakshina Kannada district in the Indian state of Karnataka.

There is a village named Someshwar near Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. This village is now a suburb of Ratnagiri, but until recently it was inaccessible by road. Now a bridge has been built over the river which separates it from Ratnagiri. There is a swayambhu temple of Lord Shiva in the village since last 400-500 years.
