He is also the editor of Jeevanaadi, a monthly medical magazine. He has also published 21 books on various aspects of medicine, 9 books are under different stages of publication and innumerable articles on health and medicine in various journals.[3] He gives valuable tips and suggestions in his blog site.[4] He also hosts the longest-running game show on Chandana TV, Thatt antha HeLi.

Early career
Naa Someswara was born on 14 May 1955 in Karnataka. He completed MBBS Medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in 1986.[5] From then he was engaged as a Physician. He is the author of many books in Kannada, mainly Elu Suttina Koteyali Entu Koti Bhantaru which won Dr. P.S. Shankar Shreshtha Vaidya Sahitya Award in 2003. He has done Research work in various topics. He is one of the fewest persons who speaks most of the words in Kannada. He is popular for using appropriate Kannada words for complicated words in English. He is also an Indian television personality, who hosts the longest-running game show on Chandana TV known as Thatt antha HeLi, which completed 1500 episodes in July 2010.

He is married to Rukmavathy BV and they have a son named Nachiketh
Thatt antha heli
Thatt antha HeLi this is quiz program broadcasted in DD Chandana TV channel telecasting from Doordarshan Kendra Bangalore. Monday to Friday 10.30PM. This show as completed record 1,500 episodes without any sponsorship. Anchor for this program is Dr Someshwar. With three participants. This show consists of 12 questions in different fields like education, science and technology, culture, heritage etc. Each answer is awarded by a valuable book published and printed by Kannada Sahitya Parishad, not the money. That is the specialty of this program.[6]

Dr. P.S. Shankar Shreshtha Vaidya Sahitya Award
Naa Someswara was awarded the prestigious Dr. P.S. Shankar Shreshtha Vaidya Sahitya Prasashthi award for 2003 by Dr. P.S. Shankar Pratishthana, along with popular Gynaecologist Padmini Prasad in Gulbarga on October 14, 2004.[7]
Every year, two books written on various medical subjects in Kannada are selected by a group of experts appointed by the Dr. P.S. Shankar Pratishthana to receive a prize of Rs. 5000, a citation and a certificate.
Laingika Aarogya dealing with the various aspects of sexual health, penned by Dr. Padmini Prasad and Elu Suttina Koteyalli Entu Koti Bhantaru by Dr. Na Someshwar were selected for the award of the year 2003. Elu Suttina Koteyali Entu Koti Bhantaru explaining the defence mechanism of the human body, is published by Prism Books. His award-winning book explains the various phases of immunity and the diseases of the immune system such as acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) and the mechanism involved in anaphylaxis and other autoimmune disorders.[8]
The awards was given on on January 1, 2005, by Sri Mahantswamy of Sri Vijaya Mahantesh Samasthan Math of Chittaragi (Ilkal) at the Veerashaiva Kalyana Mantap in Gulbarga.
