Narsipatnam (Telugu: నర్సీపట్నం; also called as Narasipattanam) is a census town in Visakhapatnam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Narsipatnam is located at 17°40′N 82°37′E / 17.67°N 82.62°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 58 metres (190 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census[2], Narsipatnam had a population of 32,483. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Narsipatnam has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 58%. In Narsipatnam, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
