Brofaromine is a
reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A (RIMA, a type ofmonoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)) and acts onepinephrine (adrenaline),norepinephrine (noradrenaline),serotonin , anddopamine . Unlike standard MAOIs, possible side effects do not includecardiovascular complications (hypertension ) withencephalopathy , liver toxicity orhyperthermia .References
