Zoë has released two solo
album s and five singles. These all varied in their success, but she had two sizeable hits in 1991 with "Sunshine on a Rainy Day " and "Lightning", from her debutalbum , "Scarlet Red and Blue" (to which singer Sam Brown contributed). Thealbum did not sell well, reaching only #67 in theUK Albums Chart . It features similardance-pop tracks as well as soulfulballad s, and the atmospheric "Moonsister". "Holy Days" was the last single from "Scarlet Red and Blue", released in February 1992, and was well received by critics, but only reached #72.In 1996, Zoë re-emerged (still signed to
M&G Records ) with a totally revamped image, style and sound. Her new album, "Hammer" was American rock, and was released to rave reviews in the UK. The title track was released as a single, but failed to reach the UK Singles Chart.Zoë sang backing vocals on
Bananarama 's "Pop Life" album.Zoë is married to the Scottish poet,
