Pineridge Elementary is a public elementary school in Prince Rupert, British Columbia part of School District 52 Prince Rupert. It was once the top elementary school for school sports other then the private school, Annuntion Elementary, until June 2004, which was when the top athletes of the school had moved on to high school, which was Prince Rupert Secondary School, plus one student who had chosen to move to Charles Hays Secondary School. Now these students are all in their grade 12 year, in hope to move on into the bigger world, with great hope.

Pineridge just recently experienced a dramatic twist, in catching fire in the ventilation system in the last few weeks of school in June 2008. The fire had caused the school to close down for the rest of the year, and creating all the students being shipped off into different schools throughout Prince Rupert. This transaction had been a great success, and made the school district feel great about the recent shut down of Kanata Elementary and Seal Cove Elementary school, on account of these students had recently started in a new school throughout Prince Rupert.
